How do payments work?

Clients add a card once, and ForActive charges it automatically when a membership renews, when a package runs out, or on a date you set. Payments run through Stripe. Money lands in your account with standard payouts in 2 to 3 business days, or instantly for a small fee. If a payment fails, ForActive follows up with the client so you don't have to.

Who is ForActive for?

Independent coaches and instructors, with their own private clients. Personal trainers, martial arts and boxing coaches, dance teachers, basketball, soccer coaches, yoga and Pilates instructors and more. It works whether you're training one client at a time or running group classes, and whether you're just starting out or already have a full roster.

Is there a referral program?

Yes. Invite other trainers to ForActive and you get rewarded when they join and start using the app. It's built into your profile, so you can share it in a couple of taps. Pro tip: you can reach out to us directly to get a personalized promo code matching your personal brand.

What can I actually do with ForActive?

Is every feature free?

Yes. Every coach gets every feature from the start: QR code check-in, class management, content generation, all of it. ForActive stays free in any calendar month you process less than $1,000 through the app. Above that, a flat $30 payment account fee applies for that month.

Do my clients need the app too?

Yes, and it's free for them. Clients use the app to sign up for sessions, check in, pay and message you.

Can I move my existing clients over?

Yes. Invite them from the app and they're connected to you for good, with their plans, sessions and payment history in one place.
